Should you mix and match china patterns?

What’s old is sometimes new again. When it comes to china patterns, do you prefer a single style or a modern mix?  T Magazine recently referred to an old style of china featuring modern prints as Downton Abbey 2.0.  There’s certainly something in the air when it comes to adding a bit of character and playfulness to the dinner table.  Our ideas?  Mix a classic Juliska whitewash porcelain with Country Estate and add a bit of pewter for a statement piece.  Shop dinnerware at Lily Lane Home.

Our advice?  If you are looking for a forever piece, stick with a classic collection and add a few out-of-the-box pieces to the mix.  If you like them, then add a few more! It’s a safe and stylish way to test your comfort zone.
