The spring season is always a wonderful time to re-evaluate your glassware and update your stemware (or stemless ware) for spring and summer. We are envisioning brunch on the patio, dinners al fresco, and fun cocktails on the porch with friends. Here are a few glasses we recommend shopping from Juliska (and a wine carafe of course) and a summer cocktail recipe that you must try!
Sparkling Blueberry Lemonade from Spoon Fork Bacon
Serves 4 to 6
1 cup fresh lemon juice (6 to 8 whole lemons)
2/3 cup superfine sugar
2 pints blueberries, pureed and strained (using a cheesecloth is best but not necessary)
1/2 cup St Germain (elderflower liqueur)
2 cups sparkling wine
1. Place lemon juice, sugar and 3 cups water into a pitcher and stir until sugar dissolves.
2. Add blueberries, elderflower liqueur and refrigerate.
3. When ready to serve, top with sparkling wine, ice and fresh blueberries. Stir and serve.
